ROLE DESCRIPTION:

As a Customer Service Representative with Mina Garner State Farm, you will play an important role in creating a positive, efficient experience for our customers and supporting our team during the busiest parts of the day. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys helping people, staying organized, and working within clear systems and processes.

In this role, you’ll assist with incoming calls, support daily service tasks, and help customers with items such as late payments, discounts, policy questions, and other service-related needs. You will also support our sales team by assisting with follow-up, routing opportunities, and helping communication flow smoothly so agents can better serve both new and existing customers.

We are a growing office, and this role is a great opportunity for someone who wants to get their foot in the door with a strong team and grow with us. While this is a part-time position, there is real opportunity for advancement into a full-time role with increased responsibilities for someone who is dependable, motivated, and eager to contribute.

This position does not require an insurance license to start, making it a great fit for someone looking to build valuable customer service and office experience in a professional environment. We’re looking for someone reliable, comfortable with technology, and strong with follow-up.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Answer incoming phone calls and assist customers during busy service hours
  • Help with beginning-of-day office and service tasks
  • Assist customers with late payments, discounts, policy questions, and general service needs
  • Provide prompt, friendly, and accurate customer support
  • Support sales agents by assisting with follow-up, communication, and customer service needs
  • Help route customer opportunities and messages to the appropriate sales team members
  • Coordinate with team members to ensure efficient follow-up and service
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and account activity
  • Support office systems and processes to help daily operations run smoothly
QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Friendly, professional, and customer-focused
  • Reliable and consistent with attendance and follow-through
  • Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with technology and able to learn office systems quickly
  • Able to work well with both service and sales team members
  • Previous customer service or office support experience preferred
  • Ability to work a part-time schedule with consistency, including through the summer
Compensation: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
